Does health insurance cover the cost of straightening teeth?

Unfortunately, health insurance generally does not cover the cost of straightening teeth. It only covers the cost of straightening teeth for children and adolescents who start treatment before their sixteenth birthday, but not for adults. To find out if a dental health mutual could cover more costs in certain cases, it is advisable to inquire.
